74 Years of a Model Socialist Country


On september the 9th of 1948. a new country was founded after a bloody anti- imperialist people’s war of Korean people against Japanese imperialists, and a new dawn of hope has dawned in the east. When the Great Leader comrade Kim Il Sung proclaimed the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the only legitimate state of the Korean people, he had opened a doorway towards independent socialist construction and prosperity for the Korean people.


Unlike in the south of Korea, where a traitor, puppet Rhee regime, which was composed of previous colonial collaborators of the japanese, incompetent bourgeois nationalists and puppet goons of the US, sew poverty, despair, imprisoned communists, patriots and notable Koreans for their US overlord, in the north the Korean people briskly carried out ingenious economic plans for reconstruction after the devastation the Japanese brought to Korea. Unlike in the southern Korea where child labour and slave labour was rampant, in the norhtern half of Koreavarious labour laws were promulgated to protect the Korean people from exploitation and a land reform was implemented so that the Korean people can become masters of their own land for the first time in history of the Korean nation.

And even after the “Victorious Fatherland Liberation War”, where the vile US imperialists with their imperialist dogs targeted civilian buildings and Korean women and children so that they would attempt to bomb Korea back to medieval times and deal a devastating blow to the Korean nation, the Korean people under the ever-victorious brilliant Commander Kim Il Sung won a significant victory and managed to rebuild and even prosper, advancing at the speed of Chollima. Showing the strength of socialism to the whole world, Korea rebuilt it’s army, industries, especially heavy-industry complexes, and architecture beautiful as ever. The Korean people managed to, even after the “scorched earth” bombing, make Pyongyang into a beautiful metropolis of a socialist civilization with monuments, housing districts, factories, shops and cultural buildings, including the May Day Stadium, worthy of international praise.

Under the great Songun based leadership of Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, the role of a strong independent Juche-based army building was further emboldened. The heroic personell of the great Korean People’s Army had shown even under the harshest of trials that the Korean Revolution was put under that united in single-hearted army-people unity any obstacle can be overcome and any storm may be controlled with the power of the Juche socialism being put into practice. Even at the times when the socialist bloc was dissolving due to deviances in socialist countries, Juche Korea stood like a rock against difficult times, and once again as a model socialist country thrived into the new century under the leadership of the Great General of Songun!

Today, under the wise leadership of Respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, Juche Korea is a model socialist country, not only of today, but also looking at modern geo-political trends, a leader of the future. More and more countries all over the world realize the correctness of the Juche philosophy and admire DPRK for its’ just anti-imperialist heritage and fight and follow in its’ footsteps in creating a just, independent and peaceful world. Juche socialism stands today as a success tale against all odds, when the whole world was led astray by alienating, humanity destroying practices of capitalist world order, Juche Korea stood firmly on the thorny but glorious road of socialism, shining a beacon of light for the entire humanity to lead it into a new era of peace and independence. People’s Korea will indeed stay forever on the difficult but only correct road of Juche Socialism, the Road to Victory, and will forever defy the imperialist forces of subjucation until their decisive defeat in the trials of history. Future is with the DPRK, the model socialist country of the century!

For Koreans, September 74 years ago was undoubtedly one of the most joyful and epochal months in their 5000 years-long history. On the 2nd of September 1948, on the basis of the results of the north-south general election, the First Session of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was held in Pyongyang. It adopted the first Constitution of the DPRK. There were many socialist countries in the world, but most of them disappeared in the late 1980s due to the leading parties' degeneration to revisionism and betrayal of the ideals of socialism. Even the once powerful Soviet Union (including Soviet Russia 1917-1922), the first socialist state, crumbled after 74 years of existence due to its destruction by the "Perestroika" renegades. Turmoil and rebellion, organised by the anti-socialist hostile forces, supported by the imperialists and reactionaries, led to the collapse of socialism in Europe in the years 1989-1991.
