74th Founding Anniversary of DPRK Splendidly Celebrated































  Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- All the Korean people significantly celebrated the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK.


The people and service personnel visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state, to pay the highest tribute to them.


Working people, service personnel, youth and students visited the statues of the President and the Chairman and the mosaics depicting their smiling images on Mansu Hill and in other parts of the country before laying floral baskets, bouquets and flowers and making bows to them.


Ceremonies for hoisting the national flags were held across the country.


The participants in the celebrations of the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK visited various places of Pyongyang City amid the warm welcome by citizens.


Art performances were given in Pyongyang and local areas.


Youth and students and members of the women's union held sports and cultural events including dancing parties and sports and amusement games in different parts of the country, revving up the festive mood. -0-

For Koreans, September 74 years ago was undoubtedly one of the most joyful and epochal months in their 5000 years-long history. Report of Concluding Meeting of the European Regional Seminar for the 74th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK held under the title ‘‘74 years of progress and prosperity under the banner of the Juche Idea ‘

The Second and concluding meeting  of the European Regional Seminar for the 74th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK under the title of 74 years of Progress and Prosperity under the banner of the Juche Idea  at 1500 hours on the 11th of September .  The meeting was  participated by people from the following countries  ; Austria , Belgium ,Bulgaria, Finland, Germany , Italy , Luxembourg , Pakistan, Nepal, Sweden , Spain, Switzerland and the UK .
