74 YEARS OF PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY UNDER THE BANNER OF THE JUCHE IDEA-Jean Claude Martini KFA Italy

                                                                     

This year, Juche 111 (2022), the DPRK will reach the same age as Soviet Russia at the moment of its dissolution in December 1991. 

The situation in which the DPRK approaches its 74th anniversary is, by the way, completely different from that of Soviet Russia and the USSR as a whole. Thanks to the seasoned leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, socialist Korea has become a full-fledged nuclear power which no enemy dares to attack, an all-round independent and sovereign country rising in the East and indicating to all the world progressive people the road to follow for their emancipation and liberation. 

Worthy of notice and astonishing are the great changes the DPRK underwent in the last ten years: from Changjon Street built in downtown Pyongyang in 2012 to Unha Scientists Street, Wisong Scientists Dwelling District, Mirae Scientists Street, Ryomyong Street, not forgetting Samjiyon city, the Ryonpho vegetable greenhouse farm and the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, until the 10 000 flats in the Songsin and Songhwa district and the Pothong riverside terraced houses district, the appearance of the DPRK has completely changed. 

Today, People's Korea has achieved a complete strategical parity with the imperialist allied forces by successfully manufacturing and test-launching every kind of ultramodern weapon: BRBMs, IRBMs, ICBMs, hypersonic missiles, tactical weapons, huge multiple rocket launchers and even railway-launched rockets, not to mention its arsenal of A- and H Bombs. As Comrade Kim Jong Un pointed out recently: «I have already made it clear that we should be ready both for talks and confrontation and more fully for confrontation in particular in order to reliably guarantee the security of our state. The arrogant nature of the US imperialists has remained unchanged as ever. We must confront the US imperialists to the end on the strength of ideology and arms. I reaffirm that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is thoroughly prepared to cope with any kind of military clashes with the United States. … It is unreasonable and very dangerous self-destructive action to talk about military actions against our state which possesses absolute weapons that they are actually most fearful of. If the south Korean regime and military ruffians think about confronting us militarily and that they can neutralize or destroy some parts of our military forces preemptively by resorting to some special military means and methods, they are grossly mistaken! Such a dangerous attempt will be punished at once by a powerful force and Yoon Suk Yeol regime and its army will be annihilated.»

There is and there can be no doubt that the respected Comrade Supreme Leader made no bluff in his remarks on July 27 last. This because the DPRK is a powerful state not only for its weapons, but, above all, for his great ideology: the Juche idea. It is the Juche idea who allowed the country to resist and survive the “black wave” which swept off most of the socialist countries on the globe. In fact, it is a privilege for us to be able to study, visit and know socialist Korea still in our days, while most of the anti-imperialist countries of the past are just a beautiful memory because of imperialist wild aggressions and their lack of a self-defense potential. We must study the Juche idea as the most valid and viable universal scientific theory, which withstood every historical turmoil by enriching and constantly renewing itself to live up to the requests of the times. Other theories have unfortunately revealed their historical and theoretical limitations, which, in the final analysis, provoked the end of their life itself. Such is the case of Marxism-Leninism in the former USSR and other socialist countries, when it had to be reviewed and adapted to the local contexts in present-day socialist countries; such is also the case of the Third Universal Theory who saw the light and developed in the former Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. 

The DPRK advanced and advances on the strength of the single-minded unity among the leader, the party and the masses, a peculiar trait which can be found only there. This makes of the country the most democratic and stable one in the today's world. The people actively participates in the management of state affairs and all their opinions are duly noted, because deputies in the Supreme People's Assembly are directly elected by them and are revocable at any time. This framework strongly clashes with Italy's appalling situation: we have a governmental crisis nearly every year, the turnout is everytime lower because my people is legitimately loosing trust in the burgeois parliamentary system, since every party and every candidate just follow the same road indicated to them by the big corporations and monopoly capitalists. The  President of the Republic of Italy, the main spokesman of these lobbies, try every conceivable means to avoid the convocation of elections, because every electoral result opens some breakthroughs which makes the situation even more unmanageable. In the last 14 years we have hold three elections, but the result of only two of them has been fully respected, with the settlement of a government truly elected by the people. This because our constitution, which burgeois propaganda extols to the skies as “the most beautiful in the world”, contradicts its “democratic” principles by allowing the state law to nominate prime ministers without elections. We are scheduled to come back to the polls on September 25, but there is no expectancy of a great participation; the centre-right coalition, led by the leader of the Brothers of Italy Party (heir of the former neo-Fascist Italian Social Movement), Giorgia Meloni, is very likely to win, but nothing will change in that both the internal and foreign policy will be the same as followed until now. They openly specified this. 

No need to say, our communist movement lies down in a catastrophic situation. The Communist Party led by Marco Rizzo is the only one who is trying to exerce some kind of hegemony on other political forces aspiring to independence: they will run together in a list named People's and Sovereign Italy. But other parties are too engrossed in factional strifes, “war of quotations” from Marxist classics, slanders and accusations of every kind, sometimes true, sometimes forged. This actually remembers very closely the situation in Korea during the 1920s, and shows once more how desperately we need to be illuminated from the beaconlight of the Juche idea. We, as Italian Kimilsungist-Kimjongilists, will perform our duty in the trench of the class struggle to make Italy an independent, sovereign and socialist country, and will recreate a true, united communist movement on the only basis of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. We are greatly encouraged by the position taken by the DPRK, which stands guard defending the fortress of independence and strengthening its historical ties of friendship and co-operation with all those who are fighting against imperialism, like Russia and China.

 A new world is emerging, and the words repeated time and again by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are revealing their truthfulness as the days go by: this is the era of independence!
